🎄 Christmas & Cream Dessert (Jar Recipe)
Rich, fluffy, fruity cream you can spoon over cakes, serve as a dip, or eat straight from the jar!
Ingredients (fills 3–4 jars):
2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup crushed strawberries (fresh or frozen, thawed)
½ cup chopped maraschino cherries
½ cup mini marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon almond extract (optional but gives Christmas flavor!)
Optional add-ins:
¼ cup shredded coconut
¼ cup crushed peppermint candies
White chocolate chips
A pinch of cinnamon
Instructions:
- Make the whipped cream
In a large cold bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Add the sweetened condensed milk slowly while whipping to make it thick and fluffy.
- Prepare the fruit
Mash the strawberries lightly (leave some chunks).
Drain the maraschino cherries well and chop them.
- Combine
In a large bowl, gently fold together:
Whipped cream mixture
Strawberries
Cherries
Marshmallows
Vanilla + almond extract
Optional coconut or peppermint
Mix gently to keep it airy. The mixture will turn a beautiful light pink (just like in your jars).
- Chill & jar it
Spoon the mixture into clean jars.
Close tightly and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve
Eat with a spoon
Serve over brownies, angel-food cake, pancakes, or waffles
Use as a fruit dip
Or give as a holiday gift!
