Holiday Spice Whiskey Caramel Wands
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup whiskey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp salt
4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1 cup chocolate chips (for melting/dipping)
1/4 cup sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Flavor and Spices
Mix in the whiskey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
Stir until well combined and smooth.
- Make the Dough
Gradually add the graham cracker crumbs (and chopped pecans, if using).
Mix until a stiff dough forms. (You may need to use your hands at the end).
- Shape the Wands
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough at a time.
Roll the dough between your hands to form long logs or “wands” (about 3–4 inches long).
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill
Refrigerate the wands for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Dip and Decorate
Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl (30-second intervals, stirring in between).
Dip one end of each cold wand into the melted chocolate (or drizzle the chocolate over them).
Immediately top with sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
- Serve
Let the chocolate harden completely before serving.
Store in the refrigerator.
