🥓 Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (220g) brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup (75g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

🍦 Topping

  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Your favorite toppings (sprinkles, crushed nuts, whipped cream, fresh berries)

👩‍🍳 Directions
➡️ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
➡️ In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
➡️ Then add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
➡️ In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
➡️ Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently with a spatula until just combined. Remember, do not overmix!
➡️ Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
➡️ Scoop out 2 tablespoons of dough at a time, roll into balls, and place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
➡️ Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft. Avoid overbaking for that perfect chewy texture.
➡️ Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
➡️ Once ready, place a warm cookie on a plate, top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle with chocolate sauce, and add your favorite toppings like sprinkles, nuts, or whipped cream. Enjoy your delightful creation!
