Christmas Pretzel Rods β Sweet, Salty & Festively Dipped! ππ₯¨β¨
Ingredients
12β18 pretzel rods
12 oz white chocolate melting wafers or almond bark
12 oz milk or dark chocolate melting wafers
Red & green sprinkles
Crushed candy canes (optional)
Holiday M&Ms or mini chocolate candies (optional)
Red & green candy melts for drizzling
Instructions
- Prep the Baking Area (β 2 minutes)
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lay pretzel rods out so theyβre ready for dipping. - Melt the Chocolates (β 3β5 minutes)
Microwave Method:
Add chocolate wafers to a microwave-safe bowl.
Heat at 50% power for 30 seconds β stir β repeat until smooth.
Double Boiler Method:
Place chocolate in a heat-safe bowl over simmering water.
Stir until melted and silky.
Repeat for white chocolate and any colored melts. - Dip the Pretzel Rods π«β¨ (β 5 minutes)
Dip each pretzel rod halfway into either white chocolate or milk/dark chocolate.
Gently tap the rod on the edge of the bowl to remove excess.
Lay dipped pretzels on the parchment-lined baking sheet. - Decorate πβ€οΈπ (β 5 minutes)
While chocolate is still wet:
Add holiday sprinkles
Add crushed candy canes
Add mini M&Ms
For drizzles:
Melt red and green candy melts.
Transfer to piping bags or zip-top bags.
Snip the tip and drizzle over coated pretzels for a festive finish. - Set & Serve (β 10 minutes)
Let pretzels harden at room temperature or chill in the fridge for faster setting.
Once firm, package in treat bags or serve on dessert platters.
