⭐ Creamy Baked Chicken Rolls
Soft, juicy chicken baked in a creamy garlic sauce and topped with melted cheese. Perfect for a family dinner!
🌿 Ingredients
For the Chicken Rolls
4 large chicken breasts
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
For the Creamy Sauce
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tbsp flour (to thicken)
2 tbsp butter
Salt & pepper to taste
For Topping
1–1½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheese blend
Fresh parsley for garnish
🍳 Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pound chicken breasts to make them thin and even.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Roll each chicken breast tightly (or simply fold if they are small).
- Place them seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
- Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
- Make the Creamy Sauce
- In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
- Slowly pour in the chicken broth while whisking.
- Add heavy cream and mustard.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble & Bake
- Pour the cream sauce evenly over the chicken rolls.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley.
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, pasta, or bread to soak up the sauce.
