🍯 Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs

Ingredients

2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 tbsp ketchup (adds richness & color)

1 tbsp sesame oil (optional)

1 tsp grated ginger (optional)

1/2 tsp black pepper

Sesame seeds + green onions for serving (optional)


🔥 Instructions

  1. Prepare the ribs
  2. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  3. Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs if still attached.
  4. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the ribs on a foil-lined tray and cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for 2.5–3 hours until tender.

  1. Make the Sticky Honey Garlic Sauce

In a small pot, combine:

Honey

Soy sauce

Minced garlic

Brown sugar

Vinegar

Ketchup

Sesame oil

Ginger

Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.


  1. Glaze & caramelize
  2. Remove ribs from the oven and discard the foil.
  3. Brush a generous layer of the honey garlic sauce over the ribs.
  4. Increase oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) or set to broil.
  5. Return ribs to the oven for 10–12 minutes, brushing again halfway through, until sticky, glossy, and caramelized.

  1. Serve

Brush with extra sauce.

Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Serve hot with rice, potatoes, or a fresh salad.
