One-Pan Egg Toast (Easy & Addictive Breakfast!)
I’ve never eaten toast this good! Crispy on the outside, soft inside, cheesy, and packed with flavor — all made in one pan.
Ingredients
For the Filling
1 tbsp cooking oil (for greasing/handling)
2 eggs
2 tbsp chopped green onions
4 slices ham, chopped
1 tsp sugar
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
2 slices cheddar cheese
For the Toast
2 slices sandwich bread
Butter or oil, for the pan
Instructions
- Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with sugar, salt, and black pepper.
Add green onions and chopped ham. Mix well. - Heat the Pan
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil. - Cook the Eggs
Pour the egg mixture into the pan and spread evenly.
Cook until mostly set but still slightly soft on top. - Add the Bread
Place the bread slices directly on top of the eggs.
Gently press so the bread sticks to the egg layer. - Flip Carefully
Flip everything together so the bread is now on the bottom. - Add Cheese & Fold
Place cheddar cheese slices on the egg side.
Fold the edges inward or fold in half like a sandwich. - Finish Cooking
Cook until the bread is golden and crispy and the cheese is fully melted. - Serve Hot
Remove from pan, slice, and enjoy immediately.
Tips
Swap ham for turkey, sausage, or mushrooms.
Add chili flakes or hot sauce for heat.
Use mozzarella for extra stretch or American cheese for creaminess.
