Fireball Cherry Blasters
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
- 1 cup maraschino cherries, with stems
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Directions:
- Begin by preparing your workspace. Gather all your ingredients and tools, including a medium-sized mixing bowl, a fork or whisk, a shallow dish, and a storage container or tray to hold the cherries.
- Pour the cup of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky into the medium-sized mixing bowl.
- Add the cup of granulated sugar to the bowl with the whisky. Using a fork or whisk, stir the mixture thoroughly until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined. This may take a few minutes to ensure that the sugar is completely incorporated into the whisky.
- Once the whisky and sugar mixture is ready, take the maraschino cherries and carefully remove them from their jar. Allow any excess liquid to drain off.
- Dip each maraschino cherry into the whisky-sugar mixture, ensuring that each cherry is fully coated. You can use a fork to help submerge the cherries.
- After coating each cherry, place it in the shallow dish. Continue this process until all cherries are coated in the mixture.
- Once all cherries are in the shallow dish, cover it with plastic wrap or a lid. Place the dish in the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible. This allows the cherries to absorb the flavors of the Fireball and sugar.
- After the chilling period, remove the cherries from the refrigerator. They are now ready to serve. You can place them in a serving bowl or keep them in the storage container for easy access.
