GREEK-STYLE GRILLED CHICKEN TENDERS π₯π
π Ingredients:
1 lb (450 g) chicken tenders
2 tbsp olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
Β½ tsp dried thyme (or Italian seasoning)
Β½ tsp paprika
Β½ tsp ground cumin (optional, but very Greek-style)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Zest of Β½ lemon (optional, for extra flavor)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
π₯£ Instructions:
- Make the marinade
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, cumin, salt, pepper, and lemon zest. - Marinate the chicken
Add chicken tenders to the bowl and toss well to coat.
Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours for best flavor). - Grill the chicken
Preheat grill pan or outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
Lightly oil the grates.
Grill chicken for 3β4 minutes per side, until nicely charred and fully cooked (internal temp 165Β°F / 74Β°C).
- Rest & garnish
Remove from heat, let rest 2 minutes, then sprinkle with fresh parsley.
