🥩 Ingredients:
1 lb (500 g) ground beef
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bell pepper (green or red), chopped
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup diced tomatoes (no added sugar)
2 cups beef broth
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
½ tsp chili powder or crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tsp onion powder (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onion and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the garlic and bell pepper; cook for 1 minute.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart.
- Mix in the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Add all the spices and stir well.
- Reduce heat to low and let the chili simmer for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
🌿 Serving Tip:
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or shredded cheddar cheese (keto-friendly).
