The Cheapest Recipe Ever š§š„
This is the simplest, most budget-friendly recipeāmade with just triangular cheese and flour.
My father asks for it all the time, and once you try it, youāll understand why!
Ingredients
400 ml milk
4 cups flour (about 600 g)
1 teaspoon salt (5 g)
2 tablespoons sugar (26 g)
1 tablespoon yeast (8 g)
Triangular cheese (as needed)
Fresh dill, chopped
Sesame seeds (for topping)
Instructions
- Warm the milk slightly (lukewarm, not hot). Add sugar and yeast, mix, and let sit for 5ā10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Pour in the milk mixture and knead until you get a soft, smooth dough.
- Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into portions. Flatten each piece, add triangular cheese and dill, then seal and shape as desired.
- Place on a baking tray, brush lightly with milk, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20ā25 minutes, until golden.
