Chicken – The Crispy, Spicy Chicken Tenders

🧺 Ingredients

For the Bang Bang Sauce

1 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce

1 tsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)

2 tbsp honey

For the Chicken

2 lbs chicken tenders (or chicken breasts, cut into strips)

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Vegetable oil, for frying

🍗 Instructions

1️⃣ Whip up the sauce
In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey until smooth and creamy. Set aside—you’ll want this ready to go!

2️⃣ Prep the coating station
Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; one with beaten eggs; and one with panko breadcrumbs.

3️⃣ Coat the chicken
First, dredge each chicken tender in the seasoned flour. Next, dip into the eggs. Finally, coat generously with panko, pressing lightly so it sticks.

4️⃣ Heat the oil
Heat about 1–2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until hot (around 350°F / 175°C).

5️⃣ Fry until golden
Carefully fry the chicken in batches for 4–5 minutes per side, until crispy, golden brown, and cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

6️⃣ Sauce it up
While the chicken is still warm, drizzle or toss it with the Bang Bang sauce until beautifully coated.

7️⃣ Serve and enjoy
Serve immediately and watch them disappear fast!
