Crispy Breaded Chicken Cutlets 🍗
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
2 cups breadcrumbs
Instructions
Prepare the chicken
Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them lightly until even in thickness.
Set up breading stations
Bowl 1: Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Bowl 2: Whisk eggs with milk.
Bowl 3: Add breadcrumbs.
Bread the chicken
Dredge each chicken piece in the seasoned flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat well with breadcrumbs.
Cook the chicken
Pan-fry: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
Oven: Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
Air fryer: Cook at 190°C (375°F) for 12–15 minutes, flipping once.
Serve
Let rest for a few minutes, then serve hot.
