Hibachi Steak, Shrimp & Fried Rice Platter
Tender steak bites, juicy shrimp, savory fried rice, grilled veggies, and creamy yum yum sauce — just like your favorite hibachi grill!
📝 Ingredients
For the Steak & Shrimp
½ lb sirloin steak, cubed
½ lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp garlic butter
1 tbsp vegetable oil
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika (optional)
For the Fried Rice
3 cups cooked rice (cold, day-old works best)
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
2–3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
½ cup frozen peas & carrots
2 green onions, chopped
For the Hibachi Vegetables
1 zucchini, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 cup mushrooms
1 tbsp butter
Salt & pepper to taste
Yum Yum Sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
1–2 tbsp water (to thin)
🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Yum Yum Sauce
Mix all sauce ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate while cooking.
2️⃣ Cook the Fried Rice
Heat butter in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat
Add garlic, then pour in eggs and scramble
Add rice, peas & carrots, soy sauce, and sesame oil
Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until hot and slightly crispy
Toss in green onions and set aside
3️⃣ Cook the Steak
Heat oil in a hot skillet
Add steak cubes, season with salt, pepper & paprika
Sear 2–3 minutes per side
Add garlic butter and soy sauce, toss to coat
Remove and keep warm
4️⃣ Cook the Shrimp
In the same pan, add shrimp
Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink
Lightly season with salt & pepper
5️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables
Add butter to the pan
Toss in zucchini, onions, and mushrooms
Season lightly and cook until tender-crisp
🍽️ Serve
Plate fried rice, top with steak, shrimp, and veggies.
Drizzle generously with yum yum sauce 😍🔥
